Volunteering and working with Moving Forward Ranch, Inc. is a truly rewarding experience.  Volunteers are needed for all kinds of activities, so if you're not a "horse" person, that's perfectly fine! 

Everyone has something to offer, whether it be horsemanship skills, grant-writing experience, or just a great big smile.  No experience is necessary, but a willingness to help is required. 

Time Requirements: We are just glad that you are willing to spend time with us.  Volunteers that work directly with the riders and horses (sidewalkers and leaders) are needed each week there are lessons.  If you can't make it every week, just let us know and we can make arrangements.  All other volunteers are needed when they're available - it may be an hour after school, or a couple of hours on a Saturday morning... we have lots of flexibilty.

Groups:  If your group, school, or service organization needs community service hours or projects, there is always something to do at the ranch. 

How do I get started?
Contact us or stop in at the ranch just before or after a lesson.  All volunteers need to fill out an application and must attend a training session if they are interested in working with the horses.
