Welcome to Moving Forward Ranch! Located in Crivitz, WI, we provide therapeutic riding for individuals to promote the cognitive, emotional, and physical growth of people with disabilities and special needs. Moving Forward Ranch, Inc. is a 501(c)3 charitable organization, we operate strictly through wonderful donations from the community and donors.
Therapeutic riding is a type of equine-assisted activity that utilizes the horse for variety of activities. Our pilot program has been running successfully during the spring, and we are looking forward to starting our full program this summer!

Directions to Moving Forward Ranch The farm is located at W6490 CTH X, Middle Inlet, WI Directions: From Crivitz, follow Hwy 141 north, turn right on CTH X, follow for 4 miles, turn right on Maple Beach Rd. to farm on the first right. From Marinette, Follow Hwy 180, then left on CTH X, then left on Maple Beach Rd. to farm on first right. We have been blessed to have the Wenzel Family donate the use of their property for therapeutic riding. |

If you answered yes to any of these questions, we want you at our program. Therapeutic riding is a type of equine-assisted activity that benefits its riders in many cognitive, physical, social, and mental ways.
Our lessons are one hour in length and teach riders the fundamentals of riding. The lessons are developed specifically for each rider and offer games and activities. Each rider starts with three volunteers to lead and support the rider. Our instructor, Allison Schramm, is currently an instructor-in-training with the North American Riding for the Handicapped (NARHA).
